Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000 + Bonus

About the Position

The National Account Manager - Quik Trip for BeatBox Beverages is responsible for growing the BeatBox business & executing sales and marketing programs at Quik Trip. This person will own relationships with both the retailer and the wholesaler in 6 Quik Trip divisions. They must be critically aware of industry happenings & best practices, competition, and overall alcohol beverage strategies.

The National Account Manager will need to utilize data to analyze organizational performance in key accounts, build "win/win" selling stories and to identify solutions & opportunities for growth. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a meticulous collaborator/team player who is committed to the success of our business, as well as our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Grow sales and share at Quik Trip.
  • Own and build relationships with Quik Trip division buyers.
  • Manage relationships with wholesaler partners and maintain active communications to ensure excellent execution.
  • Utilize customer sales and syndicated data to uncover opportunities, track KPI performance, and provide fact-based analysis for your business.
  • Perform internal and external business reviews to measure, evaluate, and present sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and highlight any risks.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate sales results to BeatBox Beverages sales team and distributor networks to ensure execution of retail plans and promotions.
  • Work cross functionally with field sales, trade marketing, and category management to identify opportunities and close gaps.
  • Align BeatBox plans with customer plans and own all relevant goals.
  • Conduct regular buyer meetings to communicate strategy and recommend retailer opportunities.
  • Partner with field & execution teams to make sure the plans, tools and measurements are in place to deliver category and brand growth.
  • Manage travel and expense budget.
  • Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:
-Proven track record in building good relationships with retail customers, internal associates, and wholesalers.
-Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market needs and challenges.
-Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).
-Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
-Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with a minimum of direction.
-Proven analytical skills and an understanding of syndicated data and its applicability to beverage alcohol categories are required.
-Travel and a valid driver's license & vehicle are required.
-Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50%.

Experience:
-5+ years working in beverage or CPG industry.
-Experience calling on Quik Trip preferred.
-Wholesaler management experience preferred.
-Ability to understand and leverage analytics required.
-Knowledge of Quik Trip syndicated data systems preferred.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
-Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Ideally, this role will live east of the Mississippi River. Preferred home markets are Atlanta, North Carolina, Chicago, St. Louis.
