Job Summary:

As the Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in creating, curating, and managing content across various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth. Collaborating closely with the Social Media Manager, you'll actively contribute to expanding our online presence.

Supporting the Social Media Manager with daily tasks will be a crucial part of your role. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, you'll assist in the development and execution of creative social media strategies to enhance the BeatBox brand's awareness.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is subject to change.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers and customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and graphics.
  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics, discussions, and user engagement, and participate in relevant conversations.
  • Source and curate user-generated content (UGC) to enhance brand engagement and authenticity.
  • Organize content in Google Drive for easy access and collaboration.
  • Assist in planning and shooting content for social media platforms.
  • Track TikTok trends and incorporate them into the brand's social media strategy.
  • Ensure implementation of social media guidelines and policies to maintain brand consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Assist in managing social media content calendars to ensure consistent posting and timely updates.
  • Assist in live coverage of events, promotions, and product launches on social media platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on social media performance and insights to the team.
  • Engage with online communities and forums to promote the BeatBox brand and build relationships with potential customers.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create engaging and impactful content.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms and tools, including scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills with a keen eye for design, visual storytelling, and branding.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage content calendars and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
  • Basic analytical skills to interpret social media data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Time management skills to manage multiple social media tasks and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Passion for social media and a deep understanding of user behavior and trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain outstanding internal and external relationships.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms for businesses or organizations.
