- This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities, overseeing and guiding the performance of team members within the assigned department.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership and Team Building: Establish and lead a new IT team to support the organization's technology needs. Develop the IT department's vision and roadmap to align with company goals, ensuring IT supports business efficiency and innovation. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Process Audit and Optimization: Conduct a thorough audit of company processes to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for automation or software implementation. Collaborate with all departments to gather input, understand pain points, and design tailored solutions that address organizational needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to department leaders, ensuring IT initiatives support organizational goals. Create open communication channels to gather feedback, share updates, and align priorities across teams.
- Build vs. Buy Decision-Making: Evaluate whether to build custom solutions or purchase off-the-shelf software to meet company requirements.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and software applications
- AI Integration and Innovation: Spearhead the company's efforts to integrate AI across business processes, including operations, sales, marketing, and customer experience. Stay ahead of trends in AI, automation, and technology to identify opportunities that drive business growth and efficiency. Design and manage AI-powered tools and systems, ensuring they deliver actionable insights and streamline decision-making.
- Integration Support: Develop and execute an integration strategy to ensure seamless implementation of new systems. Oversee integrations and connections between multiple internal and external software systems to ensure seamless flow of information across multiple platforms.
- ERP and Technology Management: Oversee and optimize the company's ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to ensure it meets the needs of all stakeholders. Drive ERP enhancements and integrations with other systems to maximize its value.
- Cybersecurity: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect company systems, data, and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, manage internal policies related to data security and privacy.
- Budgeting and Vendor Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology. Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience. Expertise with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a must). Proven experience with business process audits, automation, and software implementation. Demonstrated success in integrating AI technologies within an organization.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP systems, process automation, and AI-powered tools. Familiarity with emerging AI and machine learning technologies applicable to operations, supply chain, sales, and customer experience.
- Leadership Skills: Experience building and managing high-performing teams. Ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Problem Solving & Strategy: Analytical mindset with a proven ability to design and execute technology strategies that deliver measurable business results.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the beverage or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of IT security and compliance best practices.
