BloxSnacks partners with three of the most watched YouTube Creators that kids love: Unspeakable, Aphmau, and the Ninja Kidz. With over 90MM followers combined, these creators give BloxSnacks a built-in community to quickly grow both the brand and the business. The brand launched nationally in Walmart in 2023, and is now expanding distribution, requiring us to build out our team.


Job Description
 
As our Director of Sales, you will report directly into the CEO and be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building & managing our broker network, cultivating buyer relationships, and ensuring execution at retail for the Blox assortment. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in retail sales management, a deep understanding of the food sector, and a proven ability to build and nurture successful retail partnerships. BloxSnacks is a high growth business, run by a lean but experienced team… and we’re looking for the Sales leader who is ready to do the work right alongside us to continue building the business. 
 
This is a remote, full-time position that can be based anywhere in the US, with preference given to those in the Eastern or Central time zone.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Create and execute sales strategy and priorities.
  • Manage key accounts including Walmart and new distribution coming on this year.
  • Grow distribution and retail accounts, expand channels, and get new products and flavors on-shelf.
  • Manage brokers and negotiate broker contracts.
  • Create, execute, and track promotional plans across retailers, ensuring submissions are correct and align with our overall strategy. 
  • Manage details of new item launches to ensure submissions are correct, distribution and production is on schedule, and new items hit shelves on time and in full.
  • Create item-level forecasts by retailer and channel.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team regularly to ensure we have adequate inventory levels to support the growth of the business. 
  • Work with Marketing team to create and execute shopper marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Finance on building data-driven stories to strengthen sell-in materials.
  • Work with the CEO to create and deliver presentations for key accounts.
  • Plan and execute all retailer and distributor tradeshows.


What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in CPG sales for a successful snack or grocery brand. Prior work on kids-targeted brand a plus.
  • Track record of building retail distribution, managing broker partners, and leading day-to-day for key Grocery and/or Mass accounts.
  • Team player, ready to compete & win at a start-up, which requires setting the strategy and executing the plan, working closely with cross-functional partners to make it happen.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Natural inclination to use, discover and implement technology that can take the brand to the next level. Highly proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite of products, and other common office software.
  • Distributor experience preferred (UNFI/KeHe).
  • Must be willing to travel for tradeshows, team meetings, buyer meetings, and market visits.
